At Outside Perspectives teens don’t sign up for talent shows or bunk beds.
They join an unforgettable 5-day expedition where leadership, resilience, and connection take center stage.
The program is led by seasoned outdoor professionals. It is rooted in our proven Journey of Growth curriculum.
Outside Perspectives empowers youth through challenge, teamwork, and REAL adventure.
Oh, and one more thing…EVERY piece of gear and technical clothing that is needed is included… No trips to REI!

Whether your child’s a first-time camper or a seasoned hiker, they’ll find challenge, growth, and connection here.
🌿 Intro to Adventure & Camping
Aug 17 – 21
Ages: Rising 6th Graders – Rising Freshmen (11-14) Cost: $900
- A series of one-day programs that end with an intro to camping overnight!
- Day 1 – Ropes Course on Day 1
- Day 2 – Outdoor Rock Climbing
- Day 3 – Mountain Day
- Day 4 & 5 – Canoe Overnight
- IMPACT: Learn basics, build confidence, and make real connections
- Limited to 12 participants per crew (2 crews max)
🏕 The Classic! A Backpacking & Canoeing Expedition
June 29 – July 3
Ages: Rising 8th Grader – Rising Junior | $1660
- Day 1: Ropes Course & camp at OP
- Day 2 – 5: A beginner-friendly blend of backpacking & paddling
- IMPACT: Learn basics, build confidence, and make real connections in a tech-free environment!
- Limited to 8 participants per crew (2 crews max)

While the focus of the Expedition is on teamwork and building a strong group, we never lose sight of each participant’s personal journey.
Through shared challenges, reflection, and skill-building, youth earn pins that mark their progress. Not by being the best, but by showing up, stepping up, and supporting one another.
