Venturist Days are also great for school and youth development groups that want to get a taste of the Outside Perspectives experience before committing to a full partnership!

Who can come?
Anyone aged 10 years or older!
How long is a day?
An average day is 4-6 hours, depending on the activity.
What is included in the price?
- All gear and equipment.
- Two instructors.
One Specialist (for rock climbing). - Rain gear, if necessary
What do we bring?
- Sturdy footwear.
- Small backpack (for carrying lunch, water bottle, and layers).
- Lunch/Snacks
- Waterbottle
- Sun hat
- Light layer
- Sunscreen and Bug Spray
What about transportation?
OP Instructors will meet you at the pre-determined location with all of the necessary gear and equipment. Participants or participant group must organize their own transportation to the location.
How many people can come?
- Hiking: up to 12
- Canoeing: up to 12
- Rock Climbing: up to 15
- Team Building: up to 15 per Crew, can book up to 6 Crews
What happens if it’s raining?
- You can book a rain date at an extra cost, otherwise the day happens rain or shine!

How do I know I’ll be safe?
Our instructors are all highly trained and experienced in all the activities we offer. They have a Wilderness First Aid Certification. Please read our Safety and Professionalism document here.

We will respond within two business days to confirm which date has been scheduled. To secure your chosen date, a deposit of $400 is required within one week of confirmation. The remaining balance may be settled in the days leading up to your Venturist Day or on the day of the program itself.
